GKN Automotive at Auto Shanghai

Earlier this month, GKN Automotive attended the Auto Shanghai show in China, Asia’s biggest and most influential automotive exhibition, reinforcing its commitment to the strategy of “in China, for China”. With over 30 years of experience and success in the region, together with its joint venture, SDS, GKN Automotive has become the number one supplier of sideshafts and propshafts in China, meaning the company is well-positioned to serve the rapidly evolving Chinese market.

Since 1988, GKN Automotive has introduced a variety of cutting-edge technologies and products, working in close cooperation with local and global OEMs to tailor these products to suit the exacting requirements of the customers in the market. This includes not only major international OEMs, but also local Chinese customers, such as BYD, Great Wall, Chery, Geely and SAIC.

Focusing on future EV innovations, new energy vehicles, and smart mobility solutions, Auto Shanghai attracted 906,000 attendees and almost 1,000 major Chinese and international companies from across the globe. Attending from GKN Automotive to share the company’s technology roadmap and pathway for growth in the region, were:
